Sarah Lieberman opens her Dandelion Cafe doors for a special evening, featuring a menu created by Chef Anita Jaisinghani of Pondicheri Houston, Pondicheri NYC and the Pondi Cafe at the Asia Society, with the collaborative efforts of pastry tastemakers Valerie Trasatti (Benevento Bake Shop) and Andrea DeGortari (Revival Market, The Bake Happening). Cocktails and Mocktails by Laurie Harvey and Kris Sowell. Sommelier Antonio Gianola will be pouring wines selected with the assistance of Artesa Winery's president, Susan Sueiro. Our beneficiary, the Clinic Access Support Network, helps Texans of Houston and elsewhere face and overcome the barriers obstructing their access to reproductive health care. From CASN founder, Angie Hayes: "We're so proud to team up with I'll Have What She's Having for Episode 6 of A Taste of Things to Come: Keep Rights! I started CASN in 2013 in order to provide emotional and logistical support to people accessing abortion care. We helped over 1400 people in 2017 with things like hotel stays and bus tickets for people coming from out of town, rides to and from appointments, emotional support, referrals to abortion funding organizations, and resources for continuing the pregnancy."
